SLE is one of the 16 Socionics types, known as The Marshal or ESTp in MBTI cousin notation. SLE belongs to the Beta quadra and is characterised by leading Extraverted Sensing (Se) and creative Introverted Logic (Ti). The Dual of SLE is IEI (The Romantic).

Description
The end result. This is the only thing that interests the SLE. Everything needed to achieve it they consider their vested interest. They are strong-willed and determined. "If stars shine at night — then somebody wanted it."
With their whole bearing they demonstrate they are far from ostentatious and do not care for the impression they make. "I didn't understand — please repeat", Sergey Korolyov, mastermind of Soviet space technology, used to say. Few Soviet executives had the nerve to say that to Beria.
All or nothing. Whatever the SLE does is performed with ardour, passionately, and must be brought to its conclusion. They have the personality of an untamed fighter who must come out on top regardless of cost. "One should not avoid difficulties — one needs to learn how to overcome them."
Die hard. The expression "severe but just" was practically invented for this type. Marshal Zhukov was a genuinely tough person — and only he could say to Stalin: "If you believe the Head of the Chief Headquarters is capable only of talking gibberish, then he has no reason to be here. I ask you to relieve me of my rank and send me to the front."
The SLE has no doubts about their right to manage people. Even in collegial discussions they always reserve the final word for themselves. This is compensated by their profound passion for their cause and the ability to seed the same enthusiasm in others.
A fine tactician. They quickly grasp the current situation and distribution of power, make a decision, and act. Capable of political manoeuvring without ever losing their line. They possess a powerful logical function, but it is a goal-oriented logic — not philosophical speculation, but a creative search for shortcuts to solutions. It is easier to concede the logic than the goal.
Dispassionate. The SLE rarely gives in to fear, hatred, or other negative emotions, is seldom surprised, and rarely envies. The more dangerous the situation, the more self-disciplined and resolute they become.
They dislike speaking about feelings — that is not their domain. If such words slip out, they feel as though they have betrayed themselves. They are wary of emotional love, considering it an undeserved luxury.
Perceiving others as being like themselves, the SLE has no doubt they may be desired — but is seldom sure they can also be loved. They need their partner's emotional support and submit their emotions to them, yet in practical activity they tend not to adaptation but only to dictation.
