What is being worked on and what is coming next. This is a working document, not a commitment — priorities shift.
In progress
Google AdSense — submitted, awaiting review. Following the retirement of Definitive Socionics (Wikidot) in March 2026, resubmission was held until the Wikidot cache cleared from Google's index.
YouTube channel — the @SocionicsInsight channel is live. Scripts for the first video batch are in preparation. Priority series: the 16 relations, then the 16 types, then famous people typings.
Near term
Socion app — the Socionics-based matching app launched in March 2026 at socion.app. Built as a React / Supabase web app covering dating, friendship, networking, and team building. The matching logic is open source and auditable.
Shop expansion — the Socionics Insight Shop carries type mugs, the 16 Types wall print, and stickers. Further print products are in development.
Additional content — further articles and expanded function pages are ongoing. Priority is guided by Search Console data as it accumulates.
Quiz improvements — the type quiz is functional. Further iterations will follow once behavioural data from Umami clarifies where users drop off or return unexpected results.
Longer term
Socion app — Phase 2 — Progressive Web App (PWA) with offline support and home screen install prompt, bridging web and mobile without app store submission.
Socion app — Phase 3 — Native app (React Native) once the web MVP has validated the matching logic and built a user base.
Academic / research angle — the Socion app generates the first large-scale empirical dataset on Socionics intertype relations in the English-speaking world. Match outcomes, conversation length by relation type, and stated vs revealed relation preferences are all trackable. Academic partnership is a longer-term possibility.
Not planned
- MBTI integration or hybrid typing — this site covers Socionics specifically
- Forum or community features on the main site — the existing Socionics communities (Reddit, Discord) serve that need
- Paid content or paywalls on the reference material — the theory content stays free
Changes to what has shipped are tracked in the changelog.
