Find your type in conversation
A live, one-to-one conversation over Google Meet, up to 45 minutes. No questionnaire to fill in, no test score. We talk, and I work out your type from how you think, what you notice and how you engage, as well as what you say.
£95 · 45 minutes · Google Meet · written summary afterwards
Book your conversation →A conversation, not a questionnaire read aloud
Written questionnaires capture what you say about yourself. A conversation shows how you think while you're doing it. I can follow up on the answer that didn't quite fit, notice what you skip past, and test the two types you're torn between in real time rather than guessing from the page.
That's why there's no script. We start from what's brought you here and go where the evidence leads.

How it works
- 1Book a time and pay. Choose a slot that suits you; times show in your own time zone. Payment is taken when you book.
- 2Answer four short questions. What you know of Socionics, any working type, the types you're torn between and what's made it hard to decide. Two minutes, and it means I arrive prepared.
- 3We talk. Up to 45 minutes on Google Meet, with your camera on. Bring nothing but yourself.
- 4Receive your summary. You'll get Fathom's automatic call notes straight away, then my written summary within 3 working days: your type, how confident I am, the moments in the conversation that decided it, and the alternatives I ruled out.
What you receive
-
Your type, with the reasoning.
Not just a label, but what in the conversation pointed there.
-
A confidence level.
Honest about how sure I am, and what would change my mind.
-
The alternatives ruled out.
Especially useful if you arrived torn between two types.
-
A live answer to your questions.
Ask what you like during the call: about your type, your relationships or Socionics itself.
Who it suits
The conversation suits you if you've taken tests and got different answers each time, if you're torn between two types and the written descriptions all half-fit, or if you'd simply rather talk than write. You don't need to know any Socionics; I'll pitch it to wherever you are.
If you prefer to think on paper and want a detailed document to keep, the written report is the better fit.
Recording and privacy
I record and transcribe the call with Fathom so I can give you my full attention rather than taking notes, and so your summary is accurate. You'll be asked to agree to this when you book. Fathom emails you its automatic notes of the call straight afterwards; my own written summary follows and is the final word on your type. The recording is shared only with you and is never published.
When you book, you can also choose to let me use your anonymised transcript to improve the Typing Interview, SI's conversational typing tool. It's entirely optional and makes no difference to your call.
Common questions
- Do I need to know Socionics?
- No. Tell me when you book and I'll keep the theory light.
- Do I need my camera on?
- Yes, please. Part of how I type is how you engage, not just your words, and that's much harder to read without video. If there's a reason you can't, tell me when you book and we'll work out the best approach.
- Can I bring a type I already think I am?
- Yes. Say so when you book and we'll test it directly.
- Can my partner join?
- The conversation is one-to-one. For couples, the Couples Report covers both of you and the relation between you.
