Socionics Tools

Everything on this site you can put a type into and get an answer back. Most of them are free, none of them need an account, and the ones that remember anything keep it in your own browser rather than on a server.

If you do not have a type yet, start with the test. If you have one and want to know what it means alongside somebody else's, start with the compatibility tool.

  • Socionics Test

Twelve questions that return a working hypothesis about your type, with a confidence level attached. Free, and there is nothing to sign up for.

  • Dual Finder

Give it a type and it returns the one type whose strengths meet that type's blind spots, with an explanation of why the pairing works.

  • Compatibility

Pick any two types and read the intertype relation between them, what it tends to feel like day to day, and where it usually strains.

  • Compatibility Matrix

All 256 pairings on a single colour coded grid, filterable by type or by relation. For when you want the whole picture rather than one pair.

  • Conflict Tool

Where two types clash, what makes it worse and what tends to help. Written for the pairings that keep running into the same argument.

  • Type Disambiguator

For when you have narrowed it to two types and cannot get past it. A short set of questions written to separate that specific pair, and it says so plainly when they do not separate.

  • Group Mapper

Add the types in a team, a family or a friendship group and see the relations running between every pair of them at once.

  • People List

A private list of the people you know, their types and the relation each one has with you. It is held in your own browser and never sent anywhere.

  • Expert Typing

A paid written analysis of your own questionnaire answers, returned as a PDF report. For when you would rather have a type confirmed than self assessed.

  • Match App

Socion, the companion app for meeting people by type, covering dating, friendship, networking and team building. It runs at socion.app rather than on this site.

  • Socionics World AI

A custom AI assistant trained on this site's reference library, for asking questions in your own words. It opens in ChatGPT rather than on this site.

Free guide 76 pages on reading repeating relationship patterns, with a three-cycle mapping worksheet and a timing, requests and boundaries checklist.
