Why IEE
McCall's defining television quality — the ability to make whoever she is talking to feel that they are the most interesting person in the room — is a precise expression of IEE's Ne-Fi combination. Her Big Brother era demonstrated this under pressure. The programme placed contestants in extreme psychological conditions and McCall in the position of managing the emotional consequences publicly, in real time. The IEE's Ne function is well-suited to this: it reads what is actually happening beneath the surface and responds to the real situation rather than the presented one.
